INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING

Sessions will provide you with the space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and goals. In feeling safe and comfortable, you'll be able to gain clarity and explore your thoughts, feelings, and goals.

It's important to me to provide a non-judgemental space where you can be yourself and create safety within session. There isn't a "one size fits all" approach to Therapy. Our sessions will fit your specific needs and concerns.

DEPRESSION
  • Your energy levels are at an all time low.

  • You feel like you lack motivation to do anything.

  • You feel lonely, even when you are with others.

  • You lost the joyful feelings that you used to have in life.

  • You feel like you are wandering through life, feeling like something is missing or your balance is “off.”

ANXIETY
  • Worrying all the time.

  • Racing Thoughts

  • Sleepless nights

  • Afraid to be around people

TRAUMA
  • Trauma is defined as “an event or series of events that is experienced as physically or emotionally harmful and has lasting adverse effects on functioning and mental, physical, social, emotional, or spiritual bell-being”

  • There are three parts to trauma: The Event, Experience of the event, and Effect.

  • In treating trauma we will focus on: Safety, Choice, Collaboration, Trustworthiness, and Empowerment

ADDICTION
  • I provide a safe, accepting space so that you will feel comfortable sharing your struggles with me.

  • Through listening to your story, I will get a picture of what your challenges are.

  • We will start with helping you with immediate concerns like managing difficult emotions and challenging life situations

  • We will also work to discover what your goals are in therapy and in life.

  • Keeping your unique goals in mind, we’ll figure out what’s needed to help you reach them

  • Over the course of our sessions, you will start making progress towards the life you desire.
